When you turn up for your test, you've already passed. During the test, mistakes will whittle down your points and hopefully, by the end of it, you're still in credit.
When you finish your test, the examiner will immediately put you out of your misery and tell you whether you've passed or failed.
The examiner will give you feedback on your ride and possibly conduct a Highway Code knowledge test. Check out the free Highway Code online test to help you revise.
When you pass, the examiner normally buys you the coffee. If you fail, it's your round.
Once you've passed the test and you continue to learn and refine your riding skills, consider taking the next step and become an Observer. You can help train the next generation of Advanced Riders and pass on the knowledge and experience that you've gained.
