Unfortunately we’re again confined to barracks and likely to be turning more and more to bike-related content on line. This month we introduce a new feature on vloggers/influencers/YouTubers and I look forward to receiving more submissions – yes Observers we need your expert input!

We’re continuing the short series on motorcycle related films with The Girl on a Motorcycle – you could check out the highlights on YouTube if you don’t want to sit through the whole thing.

The Café of the Month feature also continuing and further nominations are welcome. Having somewhere to stop and take refreshment is an important part of being able to make safe and comfortable journeys, all the better if it’s somewhere you can feel ‘at home’ as a motorcyclist. We can’t undertake unnecessary travel at present but we can note these recommendations for when we’re able to get back to leisure riding.

Many of us will have experienced the thrill of off-road riding with the taster sessions offered by Phoenix Motorcycle Training; I fortunately managed to get mine in just before lockdown 3.0 began. It’s timely therefore to have an article from a member, who’s gone much further in this discipline.

If you haven’t looked at the Forum for a while, there’s an area for comments and feedback regarding Progress under the ‘All other chat’ heading. Please make use of this so that I can keep the magazine’s contents relevant to the interests and needs of Members, Associates and Observers and as ever feel free to send submissions to me at editor@l-a-m.org

Finally, I’d like to hear from any more Associates who’d like to be featured. You don’t need any particular claim to fame; we just want to see the range of people from all backgrounds who’ve joined LAM. Just drop me a line at the above address.
